The New Play Reading Series (NPRS) is presented once every spring semester. NPRS is a chance for students to submit self-written work in order to be presented in a play reading. After auditions take place and casting is complete, each work is allowed three hours of rehearsal prior to their final reading which is open to the public. There are no props, costumes, or design. Any active member of the MTA can submit a play and/or audition for the New Play Reading Series. Being apart of NPRS does not count towards the "2 rule."
